Intro to Herbal compresses
By Kristi McDaniel
Intro to Herbal compresses is a self-paced online course that shows bodywork practitioners how to bring ease, value, and aromatherapy into their therapeutic practices. This course demonstrates how to safely apply heated herbal compresses to clients in any modality, to use compresses as an ethical barrier, and to create and customize herbal compresses. There are no prerequisites required to take this course.
This course provides 3.5 continuing education units (NCBTMB).
What you can learn from this course:
A fast-track into the herbal compress world.
How to bring value to your practice by offering warmth, support, and aromatherapy to your client.
How to create and customize your own herbal compresses with a variety of anti-inflammatory ingredients.
How to provide clients a comforting sensation to under-addressed areas of the body.
Who can benefit from this course:
This course can benefit all massage therapists and bodyworkers, but Kristi highly recommends it for those practitioners who experience pain as a result of providing massage techniques, as using the warmth and weight of herbal compresses can increase the effectiveness of client sessions as well as reduce strain and injury for practitioners.

Meet Your Instructor, Kristi.
Kristi was drawn to bodywork through Yoga. After receiving her massage license in 2015 she found her passion in Thai massage, but always felt like something was missing. After taking the Sarga training she found “home” by bringing the fascial work of Sarga and the passive movement of Thai massage together.
